CD gypsum board profiles are used for installing gypsum board systems, especially in ceiling and wall constructions. CD profiles form the basis of vertical and horizontal frames, providing strength and stability to the structures. The C-shaped cross-section allows for easy installation and ensures good stability.
CD profiles are the main elements in forming the frame for suspended ceilings. CD profiles are attached to the ceiling using suspension elements, and gypsum board panels are mounted onto them. These profiles are also used as vertical and horizontal frame parts when forming walls or partitions. Structures made from these profiles provide stability and strength to gypsum board wall systems.
CD profiles are also suitable for creating niches, arches, or other complex-shaped gypsum board constructions. Inside the structures, thermal and sound insulation materials can be installed, thus CD profiles help ensure energy efficiency and acoustic comfort.
CD gypsum board profiles are used together with UD profiles to form frames for mounting gypsum board panels. The width of these profiles is 60 mm, but the length can be adjusted according to the construction needs. CD profiles are made of galvanized steel, which is resistant to corrosion. Additional information and applications for CD plasterboard profiles
Ceiling – wall profile CD. Profile CD 60/27 is used as the main profile (strut) for fixing plasterboard to the wall or as a support profile for the installation of suspended ceilings with plasterboard. Profile CD 60/27 is inserted into the perimeter profile UD. The plasterboards are screwed to the profile CD 60/27.
