In Lithuania, we produce CW plasterboard installation profiles, which you can order directly from our factory warehouse. CW plasterboard profiles are metal profiles used for the installation of wall partitions and cladding systems with plasterboard. They are part of the vertical structure and, together with the UW profile, form the main partition frame system.
CW plasterboard profiles are C-shaped, with special cut-outs for wiring or piping. CW profiles are available in different widths (e.g. 50, 75, 100 mm) – the choice depends on the required wall thickness and sound insulation requirements. CW plasterboard profiles are made of galvanised steel, making them corrosion-resistant and durable. CW profiles are used in combination with UW profiles, which are fixed to the floor and ceiling. CW plasterboard profiles are inserted into UW profiles and installed vertically to form a frame for the plasterboard.
Insulation material (e.g. rock wool) is often added between CW profiles to reduce noise and improve thermal insulation. CW plasterboard profiles have special cut-outs to allow easy routing of electrical wires, plumbing or other pipes. CW plasterboard profiles ensure stability and durability of walls and partitions. Vertical profile CW: CW is used as the main profile (mullion) for the installation of partition walls made of plasterboard. The CW profile is inserted into the perimeter profile UW. The plasterboards are rotated against the CW profile.
